Take a leisurely 20-minute trip down the Penryn River from the 450-space car park on the outskirts of Falmouth. Alternatively, there is a free bus service to the Prince of Wales Pier. Fowey - Mevagissey Passenger Ferry Operates 7 days a week between May and September. From Whitehouse Quay, Fowey and Lighthouse Quay, Mevagissey. Telephone the boat on 07977 - 203394 (mobile number) The Garden Ferry Service is aimed at taking traffic off the roads and giving visitors to the two internationally known gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan an alternative mode of transport and an enjoyable time out for the family. The large catamaran ferry picks up and drops off passengers from Helford Village, Helford Passage, The Trebah garden beach and Glendurgan garden beach at Durgan. Passengers are also collected from the Budock Vean Hotel. The service runs to the hotel by request, four times per day, tide permitting. If you are a resident of the Hotel please contact reception for details of the timetable. Tel: 01326 250770 Email: The Helford Ferry The ferry connecting the North and South banks of the Helford River has been running continuously since the Middle Ages. The ferry operates from April 1st or Good Friday, to October 31st operating an hourly service from 9.00 to 5.00 in April and May, September and October.
