VAULT BEACH (or Bow Beach)

 
 
Vault beach from the south

Vault is on the south coast of Cornwall just to the southwest of Gorran Haven. It is also known as Bow beach.
Although the beach is mainly shingle there is some sand at low tide. The far (south western) end of the beach has been an unofficial naturist area for over 30 years.

Access
From Gorran Haven or Lamledra follow the South West Coast Footpath. The path down to the beach is a little bit difficult.

Swimming & Surfing
Quite good for swimming but generally no surf.

Facilities
None. The nearest are at Gorran Haven.

Parking
There is parking in Gorran Haven and limited parking a little nearer in the National Trust car park at Lamledra.

Dog Friendly
Dogs are allowed at all times of the year
