DUCKPOOL

 
 


Duckpool is a small beach located at the western end of the Combe Valley and about four miles north of Bude. Mainly pebbles but a sandy area appears in the middle as the tide goes out. Unusual cliff formations with vertical and horizontal strata. The northern end of Duckpool beach is Steeple Point Cliff at a height of about 100 feet.


Access
Four miles north of Bude, via minor roads through Stibb, past Stowe Barton and Coombe. Short walk from car park.

Swimming & Surfing
Not suitable for swimming as the currents are extremely dangerous and no lifeguard cover is provided. See Surf Guide
