Wicca pool is where the granite for St Ives church was quarried and then transported by boat in 1400. D H Lawrence lived for a while at Count House on High Tregwerthen and swam at Wicca Pool. On January 21st 1939 the cargo ship Wilston ran aground at Wicca Pool with the loss of all hands. Seals can sometimes be seen swimming in the cove.

Wicca pool is north east of Zennor village. It is just off the South West Coast Path.
