NEWQUAY - FISTRAL BEACH
Fistral Beach is a large west-facing sandy beach located between Pentire Point and Towan Head. It is probably the best surfing beach in the UK. It is also the venue for a number of beach and sea related events.
Access from Headland Road.
Swimming & Surfing
The waves break from east to west from the Cribbar Rocks and the beach often gets crowded very quickly. There can be very big surf and rip currents at certain times, so the instructions of the lifeguards should be strictly followed.
